The easiest place to start and a great all-rounder. It prints at low temperatures with minimal warping - no heated bed required, so you get clean, detailed results on almost any 3D printer, no tuning required.

Made from renewable, plant-based sources, PLA (polylactic acid) and comes in one of the widest colour ranges around.

Available in different formulations/blends to suit any project: matte and silk finishes, transparent, and Tough PLA+ for parts that need extra strength.

PLA Basic

The everyday all-rounder: easy-to-print, smooth-finish and available in a gamut of colours. No special settings, no fuss - a reliable, great-value choice for models, prototypes and general-purpose parts.

Compatible with every Bambu Lab printer, with or without an AMS — the inbuilt RFID tag is recognised automatically, and it prints just as well when loaded by hand. Choose it with a reusable spool, or reorder as a refill if you've got spare spools.
