So this is a quickie video for those who have their Raspberry Pi 4 Model B all tucked in snug by the very stylish Argon 1 case but wish they could mount it to a wall, TV or monitor using VESA mounts. I got you, now you can.
VESA is a standard used for TV mounts and wall mounting systems adopted by most TV brands. So this attachment will make your Argon 1 compatible with VESA mounts of 100x100 and 75x75. I've even added some extra holes and a 40x40 mount so it can fit as many cases as possible.
When you're 3D printing it, I recommend using either ABS or Tough PLA to create a piece that will last the years. Honestly, I recommend using CPE but let me iron out all the settings so you can print it easily at home. I printed it without supports using a 0.4mm nozzle and a 0.1mm layer height. I also used 100% infill and increased the wall thickness to 4 layers.
Find my STL of this model below in the description or on our Thingiverse. I'm going to jump quickly into Cura to show the orientation for 3D printing. You're going to want the model facing up out of the build platform when you slice it. The cutout at the bottom of the model is also a nice bridging test for your 3D printer.
I'm going to link down below a great guide to nail settings for your 3D printer to print all types of filaments really, really well. Also, if you do not have a 3D printer, we have a 3D printing service that you can use to get this design and anything else you want to be printed sent directly to you and into your mits.
Good design goes to heaven and bad design goes everywhere so help me by giving your input about your experiences with this. I hope this comes in handy for you and with that, until next time, stay cozy.
