Heard about locksport and want to try it for yourself? It's a fun hobby you can pick up easily (ha!). It's like a Rubik's cube but you have to work by feel alone. And all you need to get started is a lock and a pick-set. Adafruit recommend kicking off with Adafruit's beginner transparent padlock, it's a perfect first lock. Once you've gained confidence you can check your local hardware store (or look through your basement/attic?) for other locks to try.

Watch John Park's Workshop Intro to Lockpicking video, featuring a gigantic lock, to learn the tricks of the trade. Makerspaces and events often have classes and competitions as well, where you can improve on your techniques.

This Fancy Lockpick Set is easy on the eyes, has a wider range of good quality picks and wrenches, and comes in a portable leather pouch in classy Adafruit black. The picks made with a strong yet thin hardened steel, with rivetted handles, and have a better 'touch' than stamped metal. It's a lovely, fine set to treat yourself (or an enterprising friend!) to a lock-sport upgrade.

This set contains two torsion (tension/torque) wrenches, one variable tension wrench, and twelve picks, including varying hook picks, half-diamond, L-rake, double-round, and snake.

Some batteries (such as LiPo) can't be shipped by Air. During checkout, Express Post and International Methods will not be an option if you have that type of battery in your shopping cart.

International Orders - the following rates are for New Zealand and will vary for other countries:

$12+ for Pack and Track (3+ days, tracked)
$16+ for Express International (2-5 days, tracked)

If you order lots of gear, the postage amount will increase based on the weight of your order.
