Our Slim Case for the Arduino Uno allows you to keep your Arduino safe and protected from damage or shorts, while still allowing access to all the pins! In this guide, we will show you how to assemble your new Slim Case. Every Slim Case for the Arduino Uno was designed and manufactured by us right here in Newcastle!
Unwrapping
The slim case will come wrapped in a small bundle, and all the layers will be covered in paper. Remove the paper from the panels. There is a paper peeler included with the case to help get the corners started.
Layer One
Start with the bottom layer, the engraved recesses for the nut should face down.
Black Layer
The next layer is the black layer, line up the outside profile with the bottom layer.
Add Arduino!
Drop in your Arduino.
Thin Layer
Add the thin surrounding clear layer.
Almost Top Layer
This layer has no engravings around the bolt holes and has an oval-shaped hole for the crystal.
Top Layer (Finally!)
Fit the top Layer, this has the engravings for the screw heads.
Tighten it Up
Insert the screws from the top.
Position nuts in the recesses on the bottom of the case, and tighten the screws lightly.
Finished
Now that you have completed your case, its time to get started with your Arduino! Check out our Arduino Online Workshop for everything you need to know about using your Arduino!
