But global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) belong to different countries, GPS is just the US one. GLONASS is the Russian system “Global'naya Navigatsionnaya Sputnikovaya Sistema”. Galileo belongs to the European Union and ESA, the European Space Agency. All three of these systems are supported and all are global. The QZSS system that is owned by, and covers only, Japan – is supported too.
Using GPS for navigation/tracking can usually benefit from the integration of data from a 3D accelerometer so of course that’s fitted too.
