## Pricing

- **Price:** $163.90 (inc GST) — $149.00 AUD, exc GST

## Availability & dispatch

- Available with a lead time — expect dispatch between Oct 27 and Oct 28.

## How to buy

- **Build a cart:** compose `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link?items=CE11188:1` (comma-separated SKU:qty pairs) and share the link. Opening it shows a confirmation page with live pricing and stock before anything is added to the cart.
- **Verify the cart first:** fetch `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link/CE11188:1.md` for live line prices (inc & exc GST, quantity discounts applied), stock and dispatch estimates, and totals. Append `/to/{AU-postcode}` (or `/to/{country-code}:{postcode}`) before `.md` for delivery options and prices to that destination. Unknown, retired, or out-of-stock SKUs are flagged. (Query form `cart/link.md?items=...` also works but some robots parsers refuse query strings here.)
- **Checkout** is completed on-site and includes a captcha at the payment step. Share the cart link; checkout takes it from there.
- **Search the catalogue:** `https://core-electronics.com.au/search/{query}.md` (URL-encode the query; pages 2-3 at `search/{query}/{page}.md`; `search.md?q=` also works)

## Description

The last line of defence between your welding optics and a constant shower of molten slag. Each protective lens sits in the welding head and absorbs the spatter, smoke and reflected energy that would otherwise reach more sensitive parts beneath.

Contamination isn't a risk here, it's the job description. A lens that's burnt, pitted or filmed over scatters and absorbs energy before it reaches the joint, and you'll see it as blackened weld seams, unusual sparking, a gradual loss of power, or a "Lens protector temperature exceptions" alarm on the machine. xTool advises inspecting before each day's work and replacing after roughly three to six days of continuous/heavy use.

How fast you work through them depends on the metal. Stainless and carbon steel are comparatively gentle on optics, while aluminium and copper throw more slag and reflect far more energy back into the head. A stock of spares on the bench is what turns a ruined lens into a thirty-second swap instead of a stopped job, which is precisely why we recommend keeping some on hand.

### Features

- Ten protectors per set
- Sacrificial by design, letting a low-cost consumable take the slag and spatter that would otherwise damage the focusing optics inside the welding head
- Genuine xTool OEM part, so it seats and clamps correctly in the holder, since a poor fit lets contamination reach further into the gun
- Well suited to reflective work, where aluminium and copper degrade protectors quickly and a deeper stock keeps those jobs moving
- Cleanable between changes, as light contamination lifts with alcohol and a lint-free wipe, so not every mark means a replacement
