## Description

Diode lasers bounce off shiny metal. Infrared light at 1064nm doesn't - it is absorbed straight into the surface, so stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper, titanium and precious metals take a distinct, permanent mark with no marking spray or extra processes.

Built exclusively for the xTool M2, this module fits the same multi-function module holder as the diode head, so one machine covers both cutting and bare-metal marking. Two locating pins on the back align it into position, a single module cable connects it, and the M2 recognises it in xTool's software - swapping heads is an easy couple of minutes' work.

Metals aren't the whole story either. The infrared wavelength also bites into engineering plastics and rubber where a diode module produces weak, low-contrast results, opening up phone cases, chargers, earbud cases, candle lids and technical labels.

### Features

- Marks bare metal directly - no consumable marking spray, and nothing to fade or rub away afterwards
- Produces high-contrast results on engineering plastics and rubber, where diode modules tend to leave faint or inconsistent marks
- Swaps in and out without tools, so the M2 moves between diode cutting and infrared marking as the project demands
- 650nm red indicator laser lets you confirm placement on the workpiece before firing
- Tight beam divergence holds fine detail — small text, serial numbers and intricate logos stay legible
- Lens protector and nozzle are user-serviceable and replaceable, so routine cleaning keeps output power consistent over the module's life
- Official xTool part — guaranteed mechanical fit, electrical compatibility and software support
