**Description**

Wio Terminal Chassis - LoRa-E5 and GNSS is a LoRaWAN communication extension board for Seeed Wio-Terminal Dev Board. It is embedded with the [LoRa-E5 STM32WLE5JC Module](https://www.seeedstudio.com/LoRa-E5-Wireless-Module-p-4745.html), which is the world-first combo of LoRa RF and MCU chip into one single tiny chip. It is powered by ARM Cortex-M4 core and Semtech SX126X LoRa chip, supports both LoRaWAN and LoRa protocol on the worldwide frequency and (G)FSK, BPSK, (G)MSK, and LoRa modulations. The GNSS module is the Quectel L76-LB. It supports concurrent reception of GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and QZSS. With 33 tracking channels, 99 acquisition channels and 210 PRN channels, it can acquire and track any mix of GPS, GLONASS (or BeiDou) and SBAS signals.

Prior to developing this, we checked out the LoRa tester market; the price usually ranges from $200 to $500, however, some of them lack a backend application to report the network signal, current time, status, and several other critical information. Therefore, we decided to bring a low-cost version ourselves that is able to do more! This project is based on Paul Pinault’s [WioLoRaWANFieldTester](https://github.com/disk91/WioLoRaWANFieldTester) report. We are honoured to have access to his link and we thank him for his contributions.
