## Description

1440 × 2560 pixels across a 5.5-inch diagonal works out to roughly 534 pixels per inch — past the point where most people can resolve individual pixels, even close up. It arrives over ordinary HDMI, so the host treats it as a standard monitor, no drivers required.

Optical bonding is the detail that separates this from cheaper panels: the glass is laminated directly to the LCD with no air gap, which removes the internal reflections that wash out contrast under bright light, and seals out the dust that otherwise migrates into that gap over time. The result is deeper blacks and a screen that still looks new after a year on a bench.

Driving 2K takes real GPU headroom. The Raspberry Pi 4B and CM4 handle it fully; a Pi 3B+, 3B, Zero 2 W or Zero W will run the panel but is locked to its default portrait orientation and cannot rotate. Windows 11 through 7 gets driver-free 10-point touch over USB. The panel is portrait by default at 1440 × 2560 (H × V) - landscape requires a config change.

### Features

- 534 PPI across a 5.5-inch IPS panel — fine enough for dense UI, small text and detailed imagery without visible pixel structure
- Optical bonding eliminates the air gap, cutting glare and internal reflection while sealing the panel against dust ingress
- Driver-free 10-point capacitive touch on Raspberry Pi OS and Windows; Ubuntu and Kali get single-point touch, also driver-free
- 6H toughened glass front surface stands up to repeated handling in exposed builds
- 170° IPS viewing angle keeps colour consistent when the panel is mounted at an angle
- Leaves the Raspberry Pi 40-pin GPIO header free — video over HDMI, touch over USB
- Audio out on both a 3.5mm jack and a 4-pin header
- Ships with the full adapter set, so it connects to a Pi 4B, CM4 or mini PC out of the box
- HDMI Certified
