## How to buy

- **Build a cart:** compose `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link?items=WS-21915:1` (comma-separated SKU:qty pairs) and share the link. Opening it shows a confirmation page with live pricing and stock before anything is added to the cart.
- **Verify the cart first:** fetch `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link/WS-21915:1.md` for live line prices (inc & exc GST, quantity discounts applied), stock and dispatch estimates, and totals. Append `/to/{AU-postcode}` (or `/to/{country-code}:{postcode}`) before `.md` for delivery options and prices to that destination. Unknown, retired, or out-of-stock SKUs are flagged. (Query form `cart/link.md?items=...` also works but some robots parsers refuse query strings here.)
- **Checkout** is completed on-site and includes a captcha at the payment step. Share the cart link; checkout takes it from there.
- **Search the catalogue:** `https://core-electronics.com.au/search/{query}.md` (URL-encode the query; pages 2-3 at `search/{query}/{page}.md`; `search.md?q=` also works)

## Description

A 640×480 IPS panel at 3.5 inches puts roughly 229 pixels into every inch — dense enough that text stays legible on a panel small enough to hold in one hand. It runs over standard HDMI, so the host just sees a monitor.

SPI displays are the usual small-screen answer on a Raspberry Pi, and they come with real costs: a sluggish refresh rate, a hard dependency on the Pi's 40-pin GPIO header, and driver overlays that break on system updates. This takes the HDMI route instead, which leaves the GPIO header completely free for the HAT, sensors or wiring your project actually needs.

Touch arrives over USB-C and is driver-free — plug it in and five-point capacitive touch simply works on Raspberry Pi OS, Ubuntu, Kali, WIN10 IoT, Retropie, Windows and Jetson's Ubuntu. An I2C touch path is also broken out for builds where a spare USB port is scarce, though that one needs a config-file entry. An on-screen menu handles brightness and contrast without any software on the host.

### Features

- Leaves the Raspberry Pi 40-pin GPIO header entirely free — HDMI carries video, USB-C carries touch, so your HAT stack is untouched
- Driver-free 5-point capacitive touch across Raspberry Pi OS, Ubuntu, Kali, Retropie, Windows 11/10/8.1/8/7 and Jetson Ubuntu
- IPS panel with a 170° viewing angle — colour and contrast hold up when the screen is mounted off-axis in a panel or enclosure
- 6H toughened glass touch surface resists the scratches an exposed panel picks up on a bench or in a kiosk
- Alternative I2C touch path for builds where USB ports are in short supply (config file required)
- Audio out on both a 3.5mm jack and a 4-pin header, so the display can drive a speaker directly
- On-screen display menu for brightness and contrast — adjustable without host-side software
- HDMI Certified
- Works with every Raspberry Pi model, Jetson (via a DP-to-HDMI adapter on Orin) and mini PCs
