## Description

This kit provides you with all the hardware you need to have videos, images and other media play on a screen on loop. It's the ideal kit for someone looking to create a digital sign, photo frame, video kiosk in their home/office/school. It's essentially a plug-and-play experience, with a few simple options that can be setup via a network connection to the device. Oh, and a monitor isn't included in the kit but [we've got options](https://core-electronics.com.au/raspberry-pi.html#category_220) if you need one.

- **Boot and Play** - Your digital sign/kiosk will boot directly into the video loop and play forever, exactly like you would expect it to.
- **Loop forever** - The kiosk will continue to play your media on loop indefinitely, unless otherwise specified. You won't be left with a blank screen in your installation.
- **Configurable sequence/timing** - You can login to the device over a network connection and set the playlist order, timing and other options. It's easy to do, just follow our guide below.
- **Mount anywhere** - As the Raspberry Pi (the board that runs the Kiosk software) is a credit-card sized computer, this kit can be mounted into most projects. You can even use [this VESA adapter](https://core-electronics.com.au/pimoroni-omnivesa-38602.html) to mount it directly to your TV/Monitor

### How to setup a video looper kiosk/digital sign

This kit runs some basic software which can be configured to loop MP4 video files, or a range of image files for preset time period (or on loop!). This makes it perfect for displaying everything from short animation sequences to movie length loops. Getting started is incredibly easy and requires no specific technical knowledge. We've put this kit together to contain everything needed, including a pre-formatted microSD card with the OS image on it, ready to go.

[We've even put together a guide on how you can set up your Video Kiosk Kit. ](https://core-electronics.com.au/tutorials/digital-signage-with-raspberry-pi.html)

All you need to do is connect the Pi to your network, log in and set it up how you need it. Then it will play the files as you have configured them! It's just that easy! As always, if you run into any issues, get in touch with us. We're here to help.
