## Description

This convenient adapter lets you plug a [USB Type C 3.1 5V cable](https://core-electronics.com.au/usb-c-to-usb-c-cable-usb-3-1-gen-4-with-e-mark-1-meter-long.html) into something with a 5.5mm / 2.1mm DC barrel socket.

Works great with **any** device or cable with 5.5mm / 2.1mm DC barrel socket. Since USB C is reversible you can flip it for a left angle or right angle. You'll get 20V DC output, at up to 3A (or whatever the power adapter can do)

**Please Note:** The adapter has "19.5V" embossed but this isn't a valid and known USB PD option, they mean 20V.

**Note** it is *not* a boost or buck converter - if the power supply only can do 5V or 9V it will not magically convert it to 20V- [We do have USB booster cables if that's what you want](https://core-electronics.com.au/search?q=usb+booster).
