Designed for [Jetson Nano Developer Kit](https://core-electronics.com.au/nvidia-jetson-nano-developer-kit-v3.html), this advanced uninterruptible Power supply UPS module provides up to 5.1V 8000mA backup power for the Jetson Nano board. With intelligent power management, the module supports multiple functions like power loss/adapter fault detection, automatic startup, complete shutdown from software, advanced power path management, I2C bus communication, and onboard LED indicators for monitoring battery capacity. It is powered by six [18650 batteries](https://core-electronics.com.au/polymer-lithium-ion-battery-18650-cell-2600mah.html) (not included).

Power Loss Detection and Auto Power On behaviour is user configurable using the 4 pin header and shorting blocks. When enabled (shorting block fitted) Power Loss Detection will report when AC power is lost so your Jetson can be shut down. When Auto Power On is enabled (shorting block fitted) the unit will automatically turn on after a 3-second delay when power is present.

Keep an eye on the XH2.54-2P connectors as the input and outputs are easy to mix up!

**Safety Instructions &amp; Warnings**

Lithium polymer and lithium-ion batteries are very unstable. When charging or using improperly, it may cause fire, personal injury, and property damage.

When charging and discharging the battery pack, do not misconnect polarities. Always check the polarity of the battery connector carefully to ensure "+" to "+" and "-" to "-".

Do not mix-use old and new batteries, or use other brands of batteries.

Lithium batteries have a limited cycle life. Please replace the old batteries with new ones when they reach the end of their service life or after two years of use (whichever comes first).

Keep UPS away from children.
