## How to buy

- **Build a cart:** compose `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link?items=CE06266:1` (comma-separated SKU:qty pairs) and share the link. Opening it shows a confirmation page with live pricing and stock before anything is added to the cart.
- **Verify the cart first:** fetch `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link/CE06266:1.md` for live line prices (inc & exc GST, quantity discounts applied), stock and dispatch estimates, and totals. Append `/to/{AU-postcode}` (or `/to/{country-code}:{postcode}`) before `.md` for delivery options and prices to that destination. Unknown, retired, or out-of-stock SKUs are flagged. (Query form `cart/link.md?items=...` also works but some robots parsers refuse query strings here.)
- **Checkout** is completed on-site and includes a captcha at the payment step. Share the cart link; checkout takes it from there.
- **Search the catalogue:** `https://core-electronics.com.au/search/{query}.md` (URL-encode the query; pages 2-3 at `search/{query}/{page}.md`; `search.md?q=` also works)

## Description

PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) is a water-soluble support material for multi-extrusion 3D printing. This PVA material has solid adhesion with Ultimaker PLA (polylactic acid) filament to enable a no-hassle 3D printing experience. Print complicated geometries that were otherwise not possible with additive manufacturing. It’s safe, easy to print with and it serves a wide range of applications for both novice and advanced users.

### Reasons to choose Ultimaker PVA

- Good thermal stability resulting in better degradation resistance compared to other PVA filaments
- Less moisture sensitive than other PVA filaments
- Great adhesion to PLA, Tough PLA, CPE, and Nylon
- Safe dissolution in tap water (no harmful chemicals required)
- Biodegradable with no hazardous by-products

**Step 3**
Dry: Let the 3D print dry and apply additional post-processing to the build material if necessary.

### Get smoother surface details and complex geometries

PVA reduces the chance of scraping and cutting marks on detailed surfaces such as characters, faces, and other intricate details.

### Orient prints for maximum optimization

When slicing prints with PVA, you have the freedom to orient your model in any way possible in order to customize its strength and/or aesthetic requirements during 3D printing.

### Endless possibilities for mechanical parts

Multi-component applications such as ball bearings, ball and socket joints, and caged gear mechanisms can be 3D printed as a complete assembly in a single run.

### Ultimaker PVA Water Soluble

As a water-soluble support material, Ultimaker PVA empowers engineers and designers to create highly detailed surfaces and complex moving mechanical parts in just one run. Coupled with the right build materials and our proven material profiles in Ultimaker Cura, Ultimaker PVA opens up a whole new world of opportunities for intricate designs and versatile applications.
