## How to buy

- **Build a cart:** compose `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link?items=CE05949:1` (comma-separated SKU:qty pairs) and share the link. Opening it shows a confirmation page with live pricing and stock before anything is added to the cart.
- **Verify the cart first:** fetch `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link/CE05949:1.md` for live line prices (inc & exc GST, quantity discounts applied), stock and dispatch estimates, and totals. Append `/to/{AU-postcode}` (or `/to/{country-code}:{postcode}`) before `.md` for delivery options and prices to that destination. Unknown, retired, or out-of-stock SKUs are flagged. (Query form `cart/link.md?items=...` also works but some robots parsers refuse query strings here.)
- **Checkout** is completed on-site and includes a captcha at the payment step. Share the cart link; checkout takes it from there.
- **Search the catalogue:** `https://core-electronics.com.au/search/{query}.md` (URL-encode the query; pages 2-3 at `search/{query}/{page}.md`; `search.md?q=` also works)
- **Payment methods, purchase orders, policies and contact details:** https://core-electronics.com.au/llms.txt
## Description

This GPS module is well known amongst the community and is often used with the ArduCopter gear. At the core is a U-blox Neo-6 GPS receiver which has advanced power management and anti-jamming technology. The module takes care of all the hardware requirements leaving only 4 connections to your micro/external application (Vcc RX TX Gnd).

You don't need to be a copter-expert to use this device! Just power it up and within a few moments you will have continuous GPS data being sent from the TX on the module.

The GPS module can be powered using 5V or 3.3V thanks to an onboard regulator. The device itself operates at 3.3V so the **TX and RX IO are strictly 3.3V** which will be enough to drive normal 5V microcontrollers. Please use a [logic converter](https://core-electronics.com.au/logic-level-converter-bidirectional.html) if you are using the RX on this module, otherwise, you are at risk of permanently damaging the GPS.

### Features:

- Standalone GPS receiver
- 9600 baud (default setting; can be changed)
- Uses a XC6204B2K voltage regulator, so it can take 3.3V and 5V operating voltages.
- 3.3V TTL IOs; (FYI, the TX 3.3V 'high' state will be sufficient to drive normal 5V microcontroller TTL inputs without additional hardware)
- Onboard LED which flashes to indicate lock
- U-blox NEO-6M GPS module
- Under 1 second time-to-first-fix for hot and aided starts
- Indoor GPS: -162 dBm tracking sensitivity
- Anti-jamming technology
- Supports SBAS (WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS, GAGAN) for global coverage using multiple GPS networks.
- U-blox 6 50 channel positioning engine with over 2 million effective correlators
- Timepulse (requires PIN 3 on the board to be tapped into)
- 5Hz position update rate
- Operating temperature range: -40 TO 85°C
- UART TTL socket
- EEprom to store settings
- Dimensions: 35mm L x 26mm W x 12mm D (antenna dimensions of 25mm x 25mm x 10mm)
