## Description

The ENS22S001 is a high quality mechanical rotary encoder from Cooka. Fully sealed and rated IP65 for harsh environments and extended life. With 64 pulses per revolution, this is a low indent encoder meaning there is low turning friction with very small 'tick' feedback to the user. The SparkFun version of this encoder is unique in that it can be powered from 5V or 3.3V. With a 1/4" shaft, a variety of knobs and mounting options are available. Reading 2-bit quadrature output (A/B square waves) from the encoder is commonplace for most microcontrollers and an example sketch is available to get you started.
