## Pricing

- **Price:** $11.15 (inc GST) — $10.14 AUD, exc GST

## Availability & dispatch

- Out of stock — the product page offers email notification when it returns.

## How to buy

- **Build a cart:** compose `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link?items=SEN-29528:1` (comma-separated SKU:qty pairs) and share the link. Opening it shows a confirmation page with live pricing and stock before anything is added to the cart.
- **Verify the cart first:** fetch `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link/SEN-29528:1.md` for live line prices (inc & exc GST, quantity discounts applied), stock and dispatch estimates, and totals. Append `/to/{AU-postcode}` (or `/to/{country-code}:{postcode}`) before `.md` for delivery options and prices to that destination. Unknown, retired, or out-of-stock SKUs are flagged. (Query form `cart/link.md?items=...` also works but some robots parsers refuse query strings here.)
- **Checkout** is completed on-site and includes a captcha at the payment step. Share the cart link; checkout takes it from there.
- **Search the catalogue:** `https://core-electronics.com.au/search/{query}.md` (URL-encode the query; pages 2-3 at `search/{query}/{page}.md`; `search.md?q=` also works)

## Description

This SparkFun Triple Axis Accelerometer Breakout is a Qwiic-enabled breakout featuring the LIS3DH, a smart, low-power, three-axis, capacitive micro-machined accelerometer with 12-bit resolution, which you can use to add translation detection to your project. This board is classified as a 3DoF or 3 Degrees of Freedom. Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs) can provide additional space location data, such as gyroscopic or magnetometric data. The LIS3DH on this breakout operates under the same principles but offers a few analog inputs to experiment with, and it includes some built-in movement detection capabilities. This updated version of the [LIS3DH breakout](https://www.sparkfun.com/sparkfun-triple-axis-accelerometer-breakout-lis3dh.html) features a standard 1in. by 1in. Qwiic breakout with a pair of Qwiic connectors, allowing for easy integration into the Qwiic ecosystem.

The LIS3DH from STMicroelectronics is easy to set up; just wire up your choice of interface (SPI or I2C), supply 3.3V, and ground. This sensor works nicely with a breadboard for easy connection, and, because it gives some mass to the accelerometer, it more closely matches what might be expected from a project or cellphone.

The LIS3DH Breakout is a 3.3V device! Supplying voltages greater than ~3.6V can permanently damage the IC. As long as your Arduino has a 3.3V supply output, and you're fine with using I2C, you shouldn't need any extra level shifting. But if you want to use SPI, you may need a level shifter.
