## Pricing

- **Price:** $8.90 (inc GST) — $8.09 AUD, exc GST
- **Quantity discounts:** 10+ $7.85 (exc GST) · 50+ $7.69 (exc GST)

## Availability & dispatch

## How to buy

- **Build a cart:** compose `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link?items=ADA619:1` (comma-separated SKU:qty pairs) and share the link. Opening it shows a confirmation page with live pricing and stock before anything is added to the cart.
- **Verify the cart first:** fetch `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link/ADA619:1.md` for live line prices (inc & exc GST, quantity discounts applied), stock and dispatch estimates, and totals. Append `/to/{AU-postcode}` (or `/to/{country-code}:{postcode}`) before `.md` for delivery options and prices to that destination. Unknown, retired, or out-of-stock SKUs are flagged. (Query form `cart/link.md?items=...` also works but some robots parsers refuse query strings here.)
- **Checkout** is completed on-site and includes a captcha at the payment step. Share the cart link; checkout takes it from there.
- **Search the catalogue:** `https://core-electronics.com.au/search/{query}.md` (URL-encode the query; pages 2-3 at `search/{query}/{page}.md`; `search.md?q=` also works)

## Description

These surface-mount LEDs are an easy way to add a lot of colorful dots to your project. They're similar to the ones in Adafruit's digital RGB LED strip, same size and shape. They are half a centimeter on a side, which makes them small but not so small that they are impossible to hand solder. There are three LEDs inside, red green and blue and because they are so close together, they mix very nicely, without the need for a diffuser. The LED is also insanely bright, at a eyeball-blistering 3800mcd.

Comes in a strip of 10 pieces. If you order more than one strip, it will come as multiple strips of 10, not one long strip.

Please note this is a surface mount part! it is possible to solder thin wires to the pads but its designed for use on a SMT PCB. [We do have an Eagle package for this LED in Adafruit's github library repository, called **RGBLED5050** that you can use in your next PCB design.](https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit-Eagle-Library) If you are not comfortable with hand soldering SMT parts, [check out Adafruit's other RGB LEDs such as the thru-hole ones or in pixels/strips](https://core-electronics.com.au/#).
