A Newcastle designed-and-built case, this is a slim acrylic case for your new Raspberry Pi 5. Providing your Pi with essential protection against bumps, minor drops, and importantly shorting, while still letting you get to all of the required connections and necessary IC for heatsinks.

Need a sleek, simple, slim case for your [Raspberry Pi 5](https://core-electronics.com.au/raspberry-pi/raspberry-pi-5-boards-kits-and-accessories.html)? Well, we've got you covered!

The slim case for the Pi 5 allows full access to the GPIO pins, the camera, and display ribbon connectors on the board and is also compatible with most HATs with extra spacers space around the bottom of the bolts if you've got the right fittings.

This case allows you to keep your Pi 5 safe from short circuits between exposed components and stray wires, as well as minor bumps and scratches without significantly limiting access to the board. Assembly is easy, all you'll need is [a Philips head screwdriver](https://core-electronics.com.au/24-in-1-precision-screwdriver-kit.html).

**Note:** When using the *Pi 5 Active Cooler* only three out of 4 screws can be mounted. The screw-hole nearest the USB-C connector is left vacant, though this doesn't affect the use of the case.
