The Seeed Studio XIAO nRF52840 Plus brings nine extra SMD castellated pins to the popular Bluetooth-enabled XIAO nRF52840, keeping Bluetooth Low Energy 5.4, NFC and low power consumption in the same thumb-sized form factor.

### Features

- **Versatile Microcontroller:** Incorporates the Nordic nRF52840 chip with FPU, operating up to 64 MHz, supported by Arduino / CircuitPython / MicroPython
- **Nine Extra GPIOs:** Redesigned 1.27mm-pitch castellations and pad layout on the back bring the total to 20 GPIO, for expanded I/O via board-to-board SMD soldering
- **Wireless Capabilities:** Implement Bluetooth Low Energy 5.4 and Bluetooth Mesh with onboard antenna, also provide NFC connectivity
- **Elaborate Power Design:** Provide ultra-low power consumption as 5 µA in deep sleep mode, with the onboard BQ25101 supporting lithium battery charge management
- **Thumb-sized Design:** 21 x 17.8mm, Seeed Studio XIAO series classic form-factor with 2.54mm headers, suitable for wearable devices and space-constrained projects
- **Drop-in Compatible:** Same backside pad layout as the original XIAO nRF52840, so existing XIAO expansion boards and add-ons work as-is
