Customer Reviews

  1. Review by Paul verified purchaser

Great starter bundle. I did replace the case with a SuperPi which unfortunately Core didnt have in stock at the time. But this gave me everything to get me started on my Retro Gaming journey so it was amazingly convenient. Pretty much plug and play with a few tweaks here and there. But easy enough to sort out. I did already have a lot of the items like HDMI cables and SD cards so I could have probably ordered this separately, but its always good to have some spares. (Posted on 24/01/2019)

Good little bundle for setting up a retro gaming console, might I suggest including a choice of case (such as the transparent case with a fan) :). (Posted on 1/08/2017)

Really great product especially if your like me and everyone else out there who missed out on a Nintendo classic 10/10

It can play any game rom you can put on it from nes to ps1 (Posted on 3/03/2017)

  12. Review by Jonathan verified purchaser

Awesome kit with everything you need for the Retro experience. Along with the easy to follow videos, set up was a breeze. (Posted on 1/03/2017)

  13. Review by Michael verified purchaser

Purchased this when it became obvious that the NES Mini Classic would be impossible to find in stock anywhere (late 2016). This is a far superior product, many times more versatile. I recommend it for anyone interested in retro gaming. (Posted on 17/01/2017)

  14. Review by Phil verified purchaser

Got this kit as a Christmas present - now enjoying the old school games that I have on my big TV - freeing up the computer. (Posted on 3/01/2017)

  15. Review by Leonardo verified purchaser

Bought this kit due to the Nintendo Classic Mini being next to impossible to buy without avoiding ebay price gouging.

Only thing I would change about the kit is a slightly longer HDMI cable but otherwise it works brilliantly and is far more flexible than the Nintendo could ever be. (Posted on 12/12/2016)

  16. Review by Stephen verified purchaser

Fantastic bundle. Minimal effort to get it working and looking forward to not only introducing my kids to simpler games, but reliving nostalgic memories of some of my old favourites. (Posted on 2/12/2016)

  17. Review by Richard verified purchaser

Great kit, arrived quickly and I was up and running in no time with lots of retro gaming feels.

A lot easier to use than I thought it would be and the UI is very well polished.

    Amazing product! (Posted on 2/12/2016)

  18. Review by Rohan verified purchaser

Fast delivery, great service. For quick set up and minimum fuss this is a great package.

The included controllers are a 'good but not perfect' facsimile of the originals. However given the price this is reasonable - and they are perfectly fine for RPG and similar games or as extra controllers. (Posted on 18/10/2016)

  19. Review by Ben verified purchaser

A perfect starting point for someone wanting to emulate games at home without having to build a computer for it. I would highly reccomend getting a usb keyboard as well, though, as navigating the GUI with a controller can be a pain if you with to use any advanced features. (Posted on 10/10/2016)

  20. Review by Adrian verified purchaser

Bought this gaming kit to relive some old school games.
It was delivered with-in two days and works perfectly. It came already setup, so it was ready to just plug and play. Just had to load on the games. Too easy. Very Happy with this kit. (Posted on 21/09/2016)
