## Description

Retro games are brought to life on this handheld system and IPS display. GPi also includes additional features like X/Y buttons hidden L/R shoulder buttons as well as power.

- 2.8 inch IPS screen (a bright and colourful screen that brings plenty of life to retro games)
- Onboard speaker & volume adjust
- USB cable for direct power (included, for playing without batteries)
- 3x AA battery holder for remote power (batteries not included, we recommend [Eneloop](https://core-electronics.com.au/panasonic-eneloop-ni-mh-1-2v-2000mah-aa-4-pack.html) or [NIMH](https://core-electronics.com.au/rechargeable-nimh-aa-battery-1-2-v-2200-mah-1-cell.html))
- Safe Shutdown script available (free download & quick setup)
- 3.5mm audio port
- LED power indicator
- Compatible with Raspberry [Pi ZERO](https://core-electronics.com.au/raspberry-pi-zero.html), [ZERO W](https://core-electronics.com.au/raspberry-pi-zero-w-wireless.html)
 
The case is assembled, though you will also need:

- 1x Raspberry [Pi ZERO](https://core-electronics.com.au/raspberry-pi-zero.html), [ZERO W](https://core-electronics.com.au/raspberry-pi-zero-w-wireless.html)
- 3x AA Batteries (either rechargeable [NiMH](https://core-electronics.com.au/rechargeable-nimh-aa-battery-1-2-v-2200-mah-1-cell.html) or [Alkaline](https://core-electronics.com.au/aa-batteries.html)). **Note - included is a USB cable to power the GPI (no batteries needed).**
- A [uSD](https://core-electronics.com.au/sd-microsd-memory-card-16gb-class-10.html) card with [RetroPie](https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/First-Installation) setup
- A few minutes to setup the optional safe shutdown script (see below)
