## Description

This module adds a real, hardware clock to your Raspberry Pi. This means that having an accurate system clock is no longer dependent on having an internet connection - perfect for Pi's that are remote or have only intermittent access to the internet but still need to log data or schedule tasks.

The module plugs directly onto the Pis GPIO, and the [setup procedure](https://learn.adafruit.com/adding-a-real-time-clock-to-raspberry-pi/set-up-and-test-i2c) is very straightforward.
