## Description

The Raspberry Pi Radio Module 2 (RM2) is a compact, production-ready Wi-Fi and Bluetooth radio in a castellated module so you can add wireless connectivity to your own PCBs without the expensive and arduous radio certification process. It suits designs that need a small board footprint, low pin count and proven RF performance.

Use it to add single-band 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Bluetooth 5.2 to RP2040 or RP2350 based projects, or to replace a discrete radio front end during prototyping and short production runs while retaining software compatibility with Pico SDK and MicroPython images.

### Technical Specifications

- Radio chip inside: Infineon CYW43439 single-chip combo (single 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth).
- Wi-Fi: 802.11b/g/n (Wi-Fi 4), single-band 2.4 GHz; supports 20 MHz channels.
- Bluetooth: Bluetooth 5.2, supports Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low Energy.
- Antenna: integrated on-board 2.4 GHz antenna; single-antenna SISO with integrated PA and LNA.
- Host interface: SPI host interface plus three host-controlled GPIOs.
- Certifications: supplied with modular radio certification to simplify regulatory compliance in supported regions.
- Operating temperature: -30 C to +70 C.
