The plus in the title of PoE+ HAT is Raspberry Pi's signature for improvement, which this Power over Ethernet certainly is. It features support for 802.3at PoE+ with 25.5W of headroom (5Amps).

Four (4) standoffs and eight (8) screws are included for mounting the Hat to a Raspberry Pi!

> ⚠ Compatible with Raspberry Pi 3B+ and 4B. Other POE HATs available for RPi 5B - see below towards the bottom of the description. The headers on this POE HAT are soldered and vulnerable to user damage during the HAT removal. The POE HAT is not intended to be removed and installed frequently. During removal, as noted in the supplied documentation, care is needed to ensure the removal force is evenly distributed because damage to the headers is not covered by warranty due to user handling. Angle forces can act as a crowbar on the 4-pin header, leading to dislodgement. The 4-pin header solder joints are AOI inspected post-manufacturing to ensure compliance before the product is boxed.

PoE+ is one of the best features added to Raspberry Pi boards and has found its way into digital signage, factory automation, and hobbyists projects. Pretty much anywhere reliable and secure data is needed, along with a no hassles power setup (one wire for ethernet and power).
