Use this 30mm 5V blower fan to push heat sideways and out of your Raspberry Pi 5 enclosure, or drop it in as a like-for-like mechanical replacement\* for the fan in the Raspberry Pi Active Cooler. With a JST plug for the Raspberry Pi 5 fan header, the fan can be controlled by software in the same way as the official Active Cooler or [any other third party cases](https://core-electronics.com.au/raspberry-pi/cases-5-model-b/cases.html). Side-exhaust airflow is ideal for ducting across heatsinks or out of tight cases where a downward-blowing axial fan falls short.
