## Description

The **IO Case for Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5** is a two-piece sheet-metal enclosure that wraps [the CM5](https://core-electronics.com.au/raspberry-pi-compute-module-5.html) and its [official IO Board](https://core-electronics.com.au/raspberry-pi-compute-module-5-io-board.html) in rugged protection, adds a PWM-controlled fan for active cooling, and still leaves room inside for an NVMe SSD or PoE+ HAT.•

### Features

- **Compact metal shell -** 170 mm × 94 mm × 28 mm, powder-coated steel top and base.
- **Integrated brushless fan -** Using the onboard Fan connector (also on [the Pi 5](https://core-electronics.com.au/raspberry-pi/raspberry-pi-5-boards-kits-and-accessories.html)).
- **Full port access -** cut-outs for dual HDMI 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, 2 × USB 3.0, USB-C power, microSD and status LEDs.
- **Flex-cable slots -** twin apertures let you feed out 4-lane CSI/DSI ribbons for cameras or DSI displays without removing the lid.
- **Accessory clearance -** internal height accommodates an M.2 2230/2242 NVMe SSD or the official PoE+ HAT+.
- **Antenna ready -** SMA pass-through port accepts the Raspberry Pi Antenna Kit for improved wireless range.
