Power supply and monitoring in one simple to use and feature-rich package, the Otii Arc by Qoitech is the ultimate tool for anyone wanting to design highly energy-efficient IoT projects.

You power your device directly to the DC input or battery connectors, then the Otii is ready to act as both an up to 5V DC power supply and high-resolution voltage and current monitoring.

The Software will allow you to generate statistics based on the entire data set or small subsections even during the recording process.

You can compare how your software and hardware changes have affected your power consumption by comparing previous Otii project files to new recordings.

Features sense Pins, Can be used to compensate for voltage drop in cables or as extra votage sensors.

**Features:**

- A sample rate of up to 4k samples per second.
- Measurement range of &lt;100nA-5A, however, requires an [**external power supply**](https://core-electronics.com.au/27w-3-12vdc-switchmode-plugpack-with-usb-outlet.html) if going beyond 500mA. **Note: If using a Yellow USB port or with a lightning symbol, often they can power up to 1500+mA without the need for an external power supply. Check your USB port power limits for more info.**

- [IC Clips](https://core-electronics.com.au/banana-plugs-to-ic-clips-lead-set.html) - these will fit into the Arc black and red outlets, which then connect to your device under test. You could use any standard banana plug style connectors though.
- If available, use a Yellow USB port or one with a lightning symbol to increase the power supply limit from 500mA to 1500mA (sometimes, these ports can go up to 3Amps).

- [USB Type A Female Breakout](https://core-electronics.com.au/usb-type-a-female-breakout.html) - this is a useful combination for USB device testing. The female connector can then be used with any Type A cable, which adapts to a Micro B or other popular USB variants. To enable Otii Arc to power 5V devices, in the projects settings menu, disable Current "Auto range". This will unlock the main voltage from 4.55V to instead be 5V back on the "Supply" tab for your project setup.
