## How to buy

- **Build a cart:** compose `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link?items=ADA5320:1` (comma-separated SKU:qty pairs) and share the link. Opening it shows a confirmation page with live pricing and stock before anything is added to the cart.
- **Verify the cart first:** fetch `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link/ADA5320:1.md` for live line prices (inc & exc GST, quantity discounts applied), stock and dispatch estimates, and totals. Append `/to/{AU-postcode}` (or `/to/{country-code}:{postcode}`) before `.md` for delivery options and prices to that destination. Unknown, retired, or out-of-stock SKUs are flagged. (Query form `cart/link.md?items=...` also works but some robots parsers refuse query strings here.)
- **Checkout** is completed on-site and includes a captcha at the payment step. Share the cart link; checkout takes it from there.
- **Search the catalogue:** `https://core-electronics.com.au/search/{query}.md` (URL-encode the query; pages 2-3 at `search/{query}/{page}.md`; `search.md?q=` also works)

## Description

This book will teach you Python programming and some basic electronics without assuming any prior knowledge of either subject. The book initially focuses on Python programming, building up a Morse Code example using the Raspberry Pi Pico's built-in LED. Once you have mastered the basics of coding the Pico, the book will introduce electronics, showing you how to use sensors, switches, LEDs, servomotors, and displays attached to your Pico.

All the parts used in **Programming the Pico: Learn Coding and Electronics with the Raspberry Pi Pico** are available in a companion kit by MonkMakes Ltd. available **[here](https://core-electronics.com.au/electronics-kit-for-programming-the-pico-by-simon-monk-pico-not-included.html)**.

**Discover how to:**

- Install and use the Thonny Python editor and upload programs to your Pico
- Write simple programs to control the Raspberry Pi Pico
- Structure your programs with functions and modules
- Make effective use of Python Lists and Dictionaries
- Attach sensors, LEDs, servomotors, and displays to your Pico, and program them
- Make use of the Pico's advanced input/output capabilities
