## Pricing

- **Price:** $5.55 (inc GST) — $5.05 AUD, exc GST
- **Quantity discounts:** 5+ $4.79 (exc GST) · 20+ $4.29 (exc GST) · 100+ $3.53 (exc GST)

## Availability & dispatch

- In stock, ships same business day if ordered before 2PM (Australia/Sydney).
- We can dispatch 507 today; more stock is typically available with a 30–40 day lead time.

## How to buy

- **Build a cart:** compose `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link?items=CE04375:1` (comma-separated SKU:qty pairs) and share the link. Opening it shows a confirmation page with live pricing and stock before anything is added to the cart.
- **Verify the cart first:** fetch `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link/CE04375:1.md` for live line prices (inc & exc GST, quantity discounts applied), stock and dispatch estimates, and totals. Append `/to/{AU-postcode}` (or `/to/{country-code}:{postcode}`) before `.md` for delivery options and prices to that destination. Unknown, retired, or out-of-stock SKUs are flagged. (Query form `cart/link.md?items=...` also works but some robots parsers refuse query strings here.)
- **Checkout** is completed on-site and includes a captcha at the payment step. Share the cart link; checkout takes it from there.
- **Search the catalogue:** `https://core-electronics.com.au/search/{query}.md` (URL-encode the query; pages 2-3 at `search/{query}/{page}.md`; `search.md?q=` also works)

## Description

Make your next project portable with the reliable battery technology that is Polymer Lithium Ion. These batteries have fast charge times, can reliably hold a charge, and come with complete safety circuitry built-in. These batteries are our go-to option for any portable project.

- **Power** - With a cell voltage of 3.7 Volts, these batteries are perfect for microcontrollers and other low power devices, especially when paired with a good DC/DC regulator for logic level output.
- **Protection Circuitry** - Built into the battery is an over-voltage, over-current, and minimum voltage protection circuit which makes them even easier to use, although care must be taken when using LiPo batteries. Be sure to only use a specific LiPo charger.
- **Charging** - Although these cells are rated for 2C continuous discharge, the wiring and connectors are only rated up to 1A, so be sure to take that into account when determining your project requirements.

Remember that like any power source, you should be **extra careful** not to short the power pins as doing so can damage your battery and cause it to swell/overheat, rendering it unusable and dangerous.

The thin wires and JST connectors on Lithium Polymer batteries are designed for compactness and easy integration, but this also makes them susceptible to damage if pulled or sharply bent. For improved durability and long-term reliability, always **use strain relief** by securing the battery leads and preventing tight bends near the battery connection point.

### How to use a Lithium Polymer Battery in your project

We've got plenty of experience with Lithium batteries, with most of our projects being powered by them. We've written a guide that will explain the terminology, specifications and practical applications of LiPO batteries in a project:

**Wire Handling Warning:**
The battery wires and connector are delicate. Avoid pulling, bending, twisting, or repeatedly moving the wires, as this can damage the connection or battery. Handle the battery by its body only, and keep wire movement to a minimum during installation and use.
