# Pololu Stamped Aluminum L-Bracket Pair for Plastic Gearmotors

These aluminum gearmotor brackets let you securely mount Pololu's larger Pololu plastic gearmotors (228:1 offset, 120:1 offset, 200:1 90-degree, and 120:1 90-degree) to your project. These brackets are sold in pairs, and each bracket comes with two 1″ long and two 0.75″ long #2-56 screws for securing different size motors. Each bracket also features two mounting holes and one mounting slot intended for #4-size screws (not included).

## Description

These light-weight brackets (approximately 2 g each) are specifically designed for Pololu's larger Pololu plastic gearmotors ([228:1 offset](https://core-electronics.com.au/228-1-plastic-gearmotor-offset-output.html), [120:1 offset](https://core-electronics.com.au/120-1-plastic-gearmotor-offset-output.html), [200:1 90-degree](https://core-electronics.com.au/200-1-plastic-gearmotor-90-output.html), and [120:1 90-degree](https://core-electronics.com.au/120-1-plastic-gearmotor-90-output.html)). Each bracket features two mounting holes and one mounting slot intended for #4-size [screws](https://core-electronics.com.au/hardware/screws-nuts.html) (not included). Pololu also offer an [**extended version**](https://core-electronics.com.au/pololu-extended-stamped-aluminum-l-bracket-pair-for-plastic-gearmotors.html) of this bracket that allows for even more mounting options and might work better for particular applications.

A total of four 1" long #2-56 screws, for use with the [228:1 offset](https://core-electronics.com.au/228-1-plastic-gearmotor-offset-output.html) and [120:1 offset](https://core-electronics.com.au/120-1-plastic-gearmotor-offset-output.html) plastic gearmotors, and four 0.75" long #2-56 screws, for use with the [200:1 90-degree](https://core-electronics.com.au/200-1-plastic-gearmotor-90-output.html) and [120:1 90-degree](https://core-electronics.com.au/120-1-plastic-gearmotor-90-output.html) plastic gearmotors, are included. Two #2-56 hex nuts are also included for each bracket. Only two screws are used to mount a motor to each bracket, as shown in the pictures below:

These brackets also work with the Solarbotics plastic gearmotors ([GM2](https://core-electronics.com.au/solarbotics-gm2-224-1-gear-motor-offset-output.html), [GM3](https://core-electronics.com.au/solarbotics-gm3-224-1-gear-motor-90-deg-output.html), [GM8](https://core-electronics.com.au/solarbotics-gm8-143-1-gear-motor-offset-output.html), and [GM9](https://core-electronics.com.au/solarbotics-gm9-143-1-gear-motor-90-deg-output.html)), although different length mounting screws might be required.
