These tall brackets offer an easy and convenient mounting solution for Pololu's mini plastic gearmotors. The white plastic bracket securely clasps around the gearmotor, and the mounting tabs capture the nuts for easy installation. These brackets are sold in pairs, and each bracket comes with two M3 screws, two nuts, and a spacer.

## Description

These plastic mounting brackets are specifically designed to work with Pololu's [mini plastic gearmotors](https://core-electronics.com.au/search/?q=mini+plastic+gearmotor) (with or without [encoders](https://core-electronics.com.au/magnetic-encoder-pair-kit-for-mini-plastic-gearmotors-12-cpr-2-7-18v.html)). Both the [offset](https://core-electronics.com.au/120-1-mini-plastic-gearmotor-hp-offset-3mm-d-shaft-output.html) and [90-degree](https://core-electronics.com.au/120-1-mini-plastic-gearmotor-hp-90-3mm-d-shaft-output.html) configurations of the mini plastic gearmotors are compatible with these brackets. The brackets are sold in pairs, and four M3×12mm [screws](https://core-electronics.com.au/hardware/screws-nuts.html) and [M3 nuts](https://core-electronics.com.au/machine-hex-nut-m3-25-pack.html) are included (two for each bracket). In some orientations, the mini plastic gearmotors have a lip that causes the bracket to be raised off of the mounting surface; for those cases, two 1.25mm-thick spacer plates (one for each bracket) are also included. You can see the spacer being used in the two pictures below.

**Note:** When using this tall version of the bracket with one of the [90° Output](https://core-electronics.com.au/120-1-mini-plastic-gearmotor-hp-90-3mm-d-shaft-output.html) mini plastic gearmotors (i.e. the setup in the left picture above), only Pololu's [60mm-diameter wheels](https://core-electronics.com.au/pololu-wheel-60x8mm-pair-blue.html) (or smaller) will fit in the space between the output shaft and the mounting tab. The mounting tab will rub or interfere with larger-diameter wheels.
