The standard spacing allows use with [solderless breadboards](https://core-electronics.com.au/prototyping/breadboards.html), perforated [prototyping PCBs](https://core-electronics.com.au/prototyping/proto-boards.html), [female headers](https://core-electronics.com.au/connectors-sockets/headers/female-straight.html), and Pololu's [premium](https://core-electronics.com.au/prototyping/prototyping-wire.html) and [pre-crimped jumper wires](https://core-electronics.com.au/wire/pre-crimped-terminals.html).
