- **Build a cart:** compose `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link?items=PIM545:1` (comma-separated SKU:qty pairs) and share the link. Opening it shows a confirmation page with live pricing and stock before anything is added to the cart.
- **Verify the cart first:** fetch `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link/PIM545:1.md` for live line prices (inc & exc GST, quantity discounts applied), stock and dispatch estimates, and totals. Append `/to/{AU-postcode}` (or `/to/{country-code}:{postcode}`) before `.md` for delivery options and prices to that destination. Unknown, retired, or out-of-stock SKUs are flagged. (Query form `cart/link.md?items=...` also works but some robots parsers refuse query strings here.)
- **Checkout** is completed on-site and includes a captcha at the payment step. Share the cart link; checkout takes it from there.
- **Search the catalogue:** `https://core-electronics.com.au/search/{query}.md` (URL-encode the query; pages 2-3 at `search/{query}/{page}.md`; `search.md?q=` also works)

## Description

A sparkly 7x17 grid of snugly packed, individually controllable white LEDs to bling up your Raspberry Pi Pico, accompanied by a quartet of useful buttons.

Stop scrolling! And take a moment to appreciate the simplicity and elegance of a bright white LED, so often overlooked next to its [flashy RGB cousins](https://core-electronics.com.au/pimoroni-pico-unicorn-pack.html). Pico Scroll Pack incorporates 119 white LEDs in a tidy 7x17 matrix, along with four tactile buttons for interacting with your Pico-based contraption. OK, you can start scrolling again.

The brightness of each LED is individually controllable, and it's very nice for displaying graphs, scrolling messages, soothing snowfall animations or for visualising cellular automata. Shiny.

A Raspberry Pi Pico is not included - [click here if you'd like to buy one!](https://core-electronics.com.au/raspberry-pi-pico-soldered-headers.html)

**Getting started**

The labels on the underside of Pico Scroll Pack will show you which way round to plug it into your Pico - just match up the USB port with the markings on the board.

The most straightforward way of getting started programming the Pico add-ons is by downloading and copying the [custom MicroPython image](https://github.com/pimoroni/pimoroni-pico/blob/main/pimoroni_pico_micropython.uf2) to your Pico, it includes all the libraries you'll need!

You can find our C/C++ and MicroPython libraries and code examples [here](https://github.com/pimoroni/pimoroni-pico).

**About Raspberry Pi Pico**
Raspberry Pi Pico is a flexible, low-cost microcontroller development board from the folks at Raspberry Pi, based on their very own chip - the RP2040. It's easily programmable over USB with C/C++ or MicroPython, and ideal for using in all sorts of physical computing projects, devices and inventions - Pimoroni are so excited to see what you make with it!

Pimoroni has called their Pico-sized add-ons packs, as they're designed to attach to the back of your Pico as if it were wearing a very stylish backpack (or a miniature jet pack, if you prefer). Pimoroni has also got Pico bases (larger add-on boards with a space to mount your Pico on top) and some other boards that let you do interesting hackerly things like using multiple packs at once - [click here to view them all](https://core-electronics.com.au/f/pimoroni/pimoroni-raspberry-pi.html#category_1361)!

[Your Pico will need to have male headers soldered to it (with the pins pointing downwards) to attach to our add-on boards.](https://core-electronics.com.au/raspberry-pi-pico-soldered-headers.html)
