Pump liquid without any electronic components interacting with it - these style of pumps squish the tube, moving fluid along.

## Description

We use a similar pump in [our Plant\_io kit](https://core-electronics.com.au/plant-io-plant-cultivation-kit.html)

This is a DC motor with a pump attached to it, ready to use out of the box - just solder wires to the tabs on the motor.

We recommend using a motor driver with current limiting, [our Makerverse Motor Driver 2 Channel](https://core-electronics.com.au/makerverse-motor-driver-2-channel.html), has all of these features and an excellent guide!

To extend the tubing, [use a 3mm ID tube](https://core-electronics.com.au/silicone-tubing-for-air-pumps-and-valves-3mm-id-1-meter-long.html).

*Note: Although the pump's electronic parts do not contact the fluid, this does not guarantee it's food-safe. Exercise caution and proper preparation before using it for (tasty) edible projects.*
