## Description

The PD Power Expansion board from **52Pi** is a multi-feature power management solution for [Raspberry Pi 5](https://core-electronics.com.au/raspberry-pi-5-model-b-4gb.html).

The board offers a range of **power input** options, such as USB-C PD, DC**\*\*** 9-12V and even a set of VIN pads. **Output** **power** enjoys similar flexibility, including USB-C out (5V 5A), ATX 4-pin, and 5V output pads.

There's also an **always-ON switch** which allows you to select to start the device automatically when power is connected, without the need to press the power button.

Finally, the onboard power button can be used for manual power control. A short-press turns power on, a long-press cuts it off.

We recommend using the [Raspberry Pi 27W USB-C power supply](https://core-electronics.com.au/raspberry-pi-5-power-supply-usb-c-pd-27w-white.html) when powering via USB-C.

**Warning: Do not connect multiple input power options at the same time.**
