SemiFlex performs well as a tough, flexible filament with an exciting combination of pull strength, shock absorption, and print resolution. SemiFlex is a semi-hard flexible filament that comes in several different colors that have a slight sheen after after being 3D printed. Like NinjaFlex, SemiFlex is a premium and high quality filament material capable of opening the door to a wide range of new applications for your LulzBot desktop 3D printer.
Separate Accessory Recommended!
SemiFlex is so flexible it requires either the Flexystruder or FlexyDually Tool Head for optimal printing performance.
Print Surface Recommendation:
SemiFlex adheres exceedingly well to Lulzbots PEI print surface. Lulzbot strongly recommend applying PVA glue (white school glue) directly on the print surface using a glue stick before printing to ensure easy part removal.
Since SemiFlex is harder than other flexible filaments, complex parts like device cases with overhangs, holes, and details are easier to print while still maintaining its flexible nature. SemiFlex also has applications in robotics due to its ability to function as a tread or grip. SemiFlex is more flexible than standard filaments, so the Flexystruder Tool Head is required when printing with it. SemiFlex prints cleanly and more quickly than other flexible filaments, like NinjaFlex. Advanced users can utilize its ability to bind to ABS when using a FlexyDually Tool Head to make prosthetics, live hinges, wearables, and other projects requiring flexible, complex 3D printed items.

Print Surface:To make removing 3D printed NinjaFlex objects easier, we strongly recommend applying a glue stick applied to the print surface prior to powering on your LulzBot 3D printer. Maintain the print surface by powering off your LulzBot and cleaning the glue stick residue with a soft cloth and water.
