## Description

A complete carrier board that's barely bigger than the Compute Module it hosts. At just 56 × 41 mm, it sits directly under a Raspberry Pi CM4 and breaks out Gigabit Ethernet, 4K HDMI, USB, camera, display, audio and the full 40-pin GPIO header – no oversized IO board required.

The official CM4 IO Board is perfect on the bench, but it's far too big to drop into a finished product. This board closes that gap: evaluate your CM4 with the interfaces you actually need, then build the same compact board into your enclosure, robot or kiosk.

It suits every Compute Module 4 variant. Lite (no eMMC) modules boot from the onboard microSD slot, while eMMC modules can be flashed over USB-C – just flip the BOOT switch and use rpiboot to mount the eMMC as a USB mass-storage drive.

Getting started is simple:

- Seat your CM4 in the board-to-board socket
- Insert a flashed microSD card (Lite) or flash the eMMC over USB-C with BOOT set to ON
- Set BOOT to OFF and power up with a 5V USB-C supply

### Features

- Keeps your build tiny – the board matches the footprint of the CM4, so the whole system is only slightly larger than the module
- Fast, reliable wired networking through a Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 port
- Drive a monitor at up to 4K 30fps via the Mini HDMI port
- Add vision and a local screen with MIPI CSI-2 camera and MIPI DSI display connectors (15-pin, 1.0 mm FPC)
- Works with the huge range of Raspberry Pi HATs through the standard 40-pin GPIO header
- Plug in keyboards, storage or dongles via the USB 2.0 Type-A port
- Hear system audio through the 3.5 mm audio jack
- Flash eMMC modules without extra hardware – the BOOT switch routes USB to the USB-C port for rpiboot programming
- Onboard user button for your own interface or shutdown controls
