## How to buy

- **Build a cart:** compose `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link?items=DEV-18386:1` (comma-separated SKU:qty pairs) and share the link. Opening it shows a confirmation page with live pricing and stock before anything is added to the cart.
- **Verify the cart first:** fetch `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link/DEV-18386:1.md` for live line prices (inc & exc GST, quantity discounts applied), stock and dispatch estimates, and totals. Append `/to/{AU-postcode}` (or `/to/{country-code}:{postcode}`) before `.md` for delivery options and prices to that destination. Unknown, retired, or out-of-stock SKUs are flagged. (Query form `cart/link.md?items=...` also works but some robots parsers refuse query strings here.)
- **Checkout** is completed on-site and includes a captcha at the payment step. Share the cart link; checkout takes it from there.
- **Search the catalogue:** `https://core-electronics.com.au/search/{query}.md` (URL-encode the query; pages 2-3 at `search/{query}/{page}.md`; `search.md?q=` also works)

## Description

The [MyoWare® 2.0 Muscle Sensor](https://core-electronics.com.au/myoware-20-muscle-sensor.html) is designed to be wearable, allowing you to attach [biomedical sensor pads](https://core-electronics.com.au/biomedical-sensor-pad-10-pack.html) directly to the board itself. However, there still may be cases where you want to mount the sensor pads away from the board; this is where the MyoWare 2.0 Cable Shield comes in. The shield includes a 3.5mm TRS jack where you can attach a traditional [three electrode sensor cable](https://core-electronics.com.au/sensor-cable-electrode-pads-3-connector.html), allowing you to test and use the muscle sensor without actually attaching the board to your person.

The MyoWare 2.0 Cable Shield is also equipped with snap connectors on the board so you can easily stack it. Unlike the other shields in the MyoWare 2.0 ecosystem, this board snaps to the bottom side of the MyoWare 2.0 Muscle Sensor. Use this shield for non-wearable projects that are housed in an enclosure or that target muscles that are too small or situated such that the on-board electrode sockets would not be suitable.

**Note:** MyoWare and the Cable Shield are not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions, or in the cure, mitigation treatment, or prevention of disease, in a man or other animals.

*The MyoWare® 2.0 ecosystem consists of shields that easily interface with the MyoWare® 2.0 Muscle Sensor, which is a low-cost, Arduino-compatible, all-in-one electromyography (EMG) sensor from Advancer Technologies. The innovative connector system allows users to easily snap shields together with a compact low profile and connect to a microcontroller's analog input to measure raw, filtered, and rectified electrical activity of a target muscle. This eliminates the need to solder connections between boards.*

*This product is a collaboration with Brian Kaminski from Advancer Technologies. A portion of each sales goes back to them for product support and continued development.*
