## How to buy

- **Build a cart:** compose `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link?items=AC-B012001:1` (comma-separated SKU:qty pairs) and share the link. Opening it shows a confirmation page with live pricing and stock before anything is added to the cart.
- **Verify the cart first:** fetch `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link/AC-B012001:1.md` for live line prices (inc & exc GST, quantity discounts applied), stock and dispatch estimates, and totals. Append `/to/{AU-postcode}` (or `/to/{country-code}:{postcode}`) before `.md` for delivery options and prices to that destination. Unknown, retired, or out-of-stock SKUs are flagged. (Query form `cart/link.md?items=...` also works but some robots parsers refuse query strings here.)
- **Checkout** is completed on-site and includes a captcha at the payment step. Share the cart link; checkout takes it from there.
- **Search the catalogue:** `https://core-electronics.com.au/search/{query}.md` (URL-encode the query; pages 2-3 at `search/{query}/{page}.md`; `search.md?q=` also works)

## Description

The Raspberry Pi multi-camera adapter is designed for connecting more MIPI cameras to a single CSI camera port on the Raspberry Pi board. One adapter board can connect 4 cameras on a single Raspberry Pi board. Please note that the Raspberry Pi multi-camera adapter board is a nascent product that may have some stability issues and limitations because of the cable's signal integrity and RPi's closed source video core libraries, so use it at your own risk. This is the latest revision of the Arducam Multi Camera Adapter (V2.2). The V2.2 undergoes firmware updates, but the specs, documentation, and tutorials on the V2.1 will still apply to the V2.2.

### Features

- Accommodate 4 Raspberry Pi cameras on a single RPi board
- Supports 12MP IMX708 (Pi Camera V3) / 5MP OV5647 / 8MP IMX219 / 12MP IMX477 camera for Raspberry Pi (doesn't support version mixing)
- 3 GPIO pins are required for multiplexing
- Cameras operate sequentially, not simultaneously

### Applications

- IoT cameras
- Robot cameras
- Panorama cameras

### Notes

The default usage of this product is taking still -pictures. When it is used to while recording videos, the frame rate will be reduced.

- Raspberry Pi Touch Display (DSI interface) Compatibility Issues:
When you use a DSI display together with this adapter, you will encounter the issue of I2C conflicts. We recommend you use HDMI displays or run headless when using this adapter.
- The Arducam Multi-camera adapters ONLY support 4 kinds of camera modules by default:
    - 12MP IMX708 (V3) for Raspberry Pi
    - 5MP OV5647 (V1.3) for Raspberry Pi
    - 8MP IMX219 (V2.1) for Raspberry Pi
    - 12MP IMX477 (HQ) for Raspberry Pi
- Cameras run sequentially, not simultaneously. High resolution still image photography is possible, however, this board causes a framerate dropoff on video.
- ***No mixing of different CMOS cameras is supported.***
