## Description

This is a screen for advanced hackers who like the look of the OLED screen Adafruit have put into the [Adafruit MACROPAD RP2040](https://core-electronics.com.au/adafruit-macropad-rp2040-starter-kit-3x4-keys-encoder-oled.html).

**This is just the raw display module - no PCB or supporting circuitry is included!** You'll need to add a 12V boost converter and other components to make it work. [Check out the MACROPAD PCB files for a place to start](https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-macropad-rp2040/downloads).

Adafruit are selling this module bare for those who want to integrate it into their own project or repair a broken MACROPAD. If you just want to quickly add a monochrome 128x64 OLED to your project, we suggest Adafruit's [breakout board](https://core-electronics.com.au/monochrome-1-3-128x64-oled-graphic-display.html) or [Raspberry Pi Bonnet](https://core-electronics.com.au/adafruit-128x64-oled-bonnet-for-raspberry-pi.html) featuring a very-similar-OLED with SSD1306 chipsets. Both makes it easy to use SPI interfacing and also has mounting holes, level shifting, etc.

For software interfacing, you'll need an SH1106G driver, [Adafruit have written both Arduino and CircuitPython drivers you can use](https://github.com/adafruit?q=sh110&type=&language=&sort=).

For the matching connector, you'll need a 16-pin 0.5mm pitch FPC flip-lock connector.
