Designed to transform your [Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5](https://core-electronics.com.au/raspberry-pi-compute-module-5.html) into a fully-featured mini-computer, the Waveshare CM5-IO-BASE-A packs dual 4K HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.2 Gen1 and PCIe expansion into an ultra-compact 85×56 mm board. Ideal for edge-AI, industrial control or home automation projects.

- Dual HDMI outputs: two 4K @ 60 Hz ports (one via FFC connector)
- Gigabit Ethernet: RJ45 network port for 10/100/1000 Mbps access
- USB connectivity: 2× USB 3.2 Gen1 Type A (5 Gbps) and 2× USB 2.0 via 6-pin FFC
- PCIe interface: 16-pin PCIe Gen2/3 ×1 slot for NVMe or expansion cards
- Dual MIPI connectors: 4-lane DSI display and CSI camera interfaces
- Onboard fan header: 4-pin JST-SH PWM for 5 V cooling fan
