## Pricing

- **Price:** $9.50 (inc GST) — $8.64 AUD, exc GST
- **Quantity discounts:** 10+ $8.38 (exc GST) · 50+ $8.20 (exc GST)

## Availability & dispatch

## How to buy

- **Build a cart:** compose `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link?items=ADA5628:1` (comma-separated SKU:qty pairs) and share the link. Opening it shows a confirmation page with live pricing and stock before anything is added to the cart.
- **Verify the cart first:** fetch `https://core-electronics.com.au/cart/link/ADA5628:1.md` for live line prices (inc & exc GST, quantity discounts applied), stock and dispatch estimates, and totals. Append `/to/{AU-postcode}` (or `/to/{country-code}:{postcode}`) before `.md` for delivery options and prices to that destination. Unknown, retired, or out-of-stock SKUs are flagged. (Query form `cart/link.md?items=...` also works but some robots parsers refuse query strings here.)
- **Checkout** is completed on-site and includes a captcha at the payment step. Share the cart link; checkout takes it from there.
- **Search the catalogue:** `https://core-electronics.com.au/search/{query}.md` (URL-encode the query; pages 2-3 at `search/{query}/{page}.md`; `search.md?q=` also works)

## Description

Sometimes a simple analog control device can be the perfect tactile solution for your project, but they can be surprisingly hard to come by. Luckily Adafruit have got a low-cost, quality **Mini Analog Thumbstick (Joycon Style)** to fulfill your directional analog input needs!

This is a small joystick with a black rocker cap, similar to the ones used in Nintendo joycons. **[Note it is NOT a replacement for Switch Joycons](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joy-Con)**[, it just has the same feel and sizing](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joy-Con)**.** The joystick is a 'self-centering' analog-type. It is comprised of two 10KO potentiometers, one for up / down and another for left / right. There's also a center 'press' tactile button for selection.

You can solder the potentiometer pins onto a custom breakout board if you so choose - note it is 2mm pitch not 2.54 so not breadboard-friendly.

When fully assembled and functioning, the voltage will follow the motion of the thumbstick as it is moved around. When you release the thumbstick it will center itself. Great for robotics and other control interfaces!
