The micro:bit V2 has been designed from the ground up with education in mind. There are many onboard sensors and actuators, enabling exciting educational experiences with coding and electronics.

## Description

micro:bit V2 is a programmable development board designed with education in mind. The latest V2 version has even more sensors and actuators, enabling expansive adventures into coding and electronics.

Some of the features include:

- 5x5 Red LED Array
- Two Programmable Buttons
- Touch-sensitive logo (NEW)
- MEMS microphone (NEW) and LED indicator
- Onboard Light, Compass, Accelerometer, Temp Sensors and Speaker (NEW)

- 25-pin Edge Connector
- 19 dedicated GPIO pins including: PWM, i2c, SPI, and ext. power
- Three Digital/Analog Input/Output Rings
- Two Power Rings --- 3V and GND
- Dedcated I2C bus for peripherals
- MicroUSB Connector (5V) - we stock [a USB-C to MicroUSB cable ](https://core-electronics.com.au/usb2-0-micro-usb-to-usb-c-adapter.html)for those with Mac's or more modern computers, [a standard USB-A to Micro](https://core-electronics.com.au/usb-cable-type-a-to-micro-b-1m.html) is available as well
