This 2x20 pin header is a useful prototyping component, also compatible with many Raspberry Pi Single Board Computers.

Adding this 40 pin header to your Raspberry Pi Board gives you access to the GPIO needed for your projects. This header has 2 rows of 20 pins that are spaced just right for the Raspberry Pi GPIO pins spaces and with a little bit of soldering, you can install it on your Pi. It's compatible with the Raspberry Pi Zero, and Zero W models and any other Pi board with 40 Pin GPIO, however, the Zero models come without a header installed for the most part.

### How to install the Raspberry Pi headers

Insert the header into the top side of your Raspberry Pi board and solder the opposite side to the Pi. It's as easy as that.
