## Description

**This is the genuine Makey Makey by JoyLabz. Products priced generally lower than this are likely to be a "generic" variant. We guarantee that this official hardware will work with all official Makey Makey educational resources wherever it is referenced.**

If you haven't heard of the MaKey MaKey before, the premise is quite simple and super effective:

**Make + Key = MaKey MaKey!**

And that's exactly what this pack enables in the classroom. Young inventors, "Aged 6 to Infinity", will be able to sit down and start building upon the basics of electrical conductivity and apply it to a real-world component, within minutes. And this isn't some difficult to understand circuit that no student could grasp either, it's built upon a basic circuit we all use every day, a keyboard key!

This is our Educator's Pack for MaKey MaKey, bundling 90 feet of Conductive Adhesive Copper Tape ([Find out what that means here](https://core-electronics.com.au/tutorials/using-copper-tape-with-paper-circuits.html)) with the Standard Makey Makey Kit from SparkFun. The result is all the bits and pieces you and your students will require to start building that infamous Banana Piano together, or programming a controller for a favourite game in Scratch (However fresh fruit is not included!)

**Note:** Makey Makey products now work with the [new Ipad OS](https://makeymakey.com/blogs/blog/connect-a-makey-makey-to-your-ipad-to-build-a-mouse-or-trackpad-code-your-key-presses)!

### This Kit includes

- 18 x [Makey Makey Classic Kits](https://core-electronics.com.au/makey-makey-standard-kit.html) (which include 1x MaKey MaKey boards, Aligator Lead Pack, USB Cable and Jumper Wire Pack)
- 9 x [Copper Tape - Conductive Adhesive, 5mm (50ft)](https://core-electronics.com.au/copper-tape-conductive-adhesive-5mm-50ft.html)

By simply using a combination of Alligator Clips and Conductive Adhesive Copper tape (all in the kit, pictured above), students will be able to connect their Makey Makey board up to any object that is slightly conductive and have it send keystrokes to their computer. Within minutes you will have a Down-arrow from your Keyboard drawn out in a regular lead pencil that allows students to scroll through online content.

If you're a little unsure of what the Makey Makey board is, we've written [a short guide](https://core-electronics.com.au/tutorials/welcome-to-makey-makey-australia.html) that covers all the normal questions.

If you need some project ideas for your young inventor, we've put together a few of [o](https://core-electronics.com.au/guides/makey-makey/makey-makey-in-the-classroom/)[ur favourite resources ](https://core-electronics.com.au/guides/makey-makey/makey-makey-in-the-classroom/)as a bit of a booster pack to help you out.

As always, if you've got any more questions about this kit, or any of our other kits, don't hesitate to [get in touch](https://core-electronics.com.au/contacts/)!
