## Description

The **Makerverse™ Protoboard for Raspberry Pi Pico** is the centre of your next project. Your Pico can be mounted with male+female headers, or surface-mount soldered directly to the protoboard for the lowest profile. Each GPIO is broken out to three pads, and there's a selectable power rail (3.3 or VBUS). Ground pads may be easily bridged to the adjacent rail like a solder jumper. Since many modern components are only available in SMT packages, the Protoboard features a handy SMT prototyping area underneath the Pico.

Get started by soldering your Pico to the Protoboard, making sure the USB connector is sitting on top of the "USB" label. You can double-check the orientation is correct by comparing the GPIO numbering. To connect power to the rail, solder the VBUS **or** 3.3V jumper (but *never both!*)

- Breaks out every GPIO to three labelled pads
- Selectable power rails make distributing power easy.

**Makerverse Overview**

**Makerverse** hardware is designed for makers, by makers. We're making the tools and modules we think are the most useful to electronics enthusiasts and people that just want to get their projects done. As experienced makers ourselves, we're building in the features and design considerations that we find most valuable and have wished for in other modules.

All Makerverse devices are [![](https://core-electronics.com.au/media/wysiwyg/product_images/Core-Electronics-Original.png)](https://core-electronics.com.au/original) products designed by our team in Newcastle Australia. We manufacture the modules here as well.
