## Description

A single sharp cutting edge and one deep spiral flute make this the bit to reach for when your desktop CNC is cutting aluminium and brass. At 2mm across with an 8mm cutting length, it's sized for finer pockets, slots and contours that a full 1/8" cutter can't reach.

Soft non-ferrous metals are notorious for gummy chips. If those chips aren't cleared, the tool cuts them again, which dulls the edge and leaves a rough finish. The open single-flute 'O' profile gives chips plenty of room to escape, reducing re-cutting and leaving a cleaner wall and floor.

The 3.175mm (1/8") shank fits the Makera Carvera and Carvera Air straight out of the box.
