## Description

This M4 x 0.7mm thread starting tap can be used for cutting new threads or to clean up damaged threads in a previously tapped hole. This tap has several tapered threads at the end to guide the tap into the hole and begin cutting threads. Recommended for steel, iron, stainless steel, nickel, aluminum, brass, bronze, copper and plastic. Be sure to use lubricant and occasionally back the tap out to clear out shavings during usage.
