## Description

The Lulzbot TAZ 6 has solidified its spot on the king-of-the-hill for large scale printers and is engineered to reliably print massive objects, quickly and accurately. The Lulzbot TAZ 6 is the latest generation 3D Printer from our friends at Aleph Objects. This printer has all the features you expect from a modern device, including modular tool head design, self-levelling and cleaning.

Enjoy a wide range of material choices such as ABS and PLA, along with more exotic variants including HIPS, INOVA and PET. We've put together a guide to help you through the [swathe of filaments](https://core-electronics.com.au/guides/3d-printing/3d-printing-filament-guide/) to choose from for your next project.

We've had plenty of feedback from educators and professional users alike who have been very impressed with the ease of use and opportunities this large-scale printer has enabled. The Lulzbot printer isn't locked into an ecosystem of filaments, Aleph Objects encourage freedom with materials and modifications.

One of the key things we love about Aleph Objects is their open source approach with everything. Replacement 3D printable bits, upgrades, the lot.

NB: There is a bit of hype around "carbon fibre" filaments. First of all, it's not the same material you might think it to be. Second, it can damage your printer nozzle, so go with a copolymer for incredible strength if needed. Something that only Hot Ends such as the Lulzbot Hexagon can achieve with temperatures of up to 300 degrees C.
